What is Counselling?

Counselling is a safe and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. It provides the opportunity to gain insight and understanding, leading to positive changes in your life. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and I am dedicated to supporting your journey towards mental and emotional wellness.

How I Work

At Riches Counselling, I use a person-centred approach to therapy, tailored to meet your individual needs. I am integrative in my practice, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to create a supportive and nurturing environment for you. Modalities I draw from:

Psychodynamic Theory including Attachment styles

Proactive Approach

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

My counselling room

I am lucky enough to work from a beautiful space called "The Olive Room". I have been able to create this purpose built space to be a safe, warm and inviting place for us to work together, either in person or online. It was named "The Olive Room" because of the symbology of olives in cleansing and renewal, as well as being a sign of peace and friendship.

I know when I go somewhere new I can feel nervous or some apprehension about what that place may look or feel like. Please see the photos below to get some idea of where you would come to if you decide to work with me.
